  1. awesome episode again. I can only agree that the movie is so good. The dynamic between the characters are spot on. I am interested in the comics now but its probably hard to find and where to start. Donøt know if they have done an reboot of it like with so many of the other marvel heroes.

As for superman vs batman I am just gonna hope for the best.

Question: the ending of this episode is a bit weird don’t know if there was something wrong with the recording but it just stops.

    keep up the good work

  2. I was thinking, and of course you dont have to do or even agree, but i think it would be cool if you also record your way into the movie, not the whole trip, but at least 5-10 minutes of what you guys are expecting out of the movie, to see in the end if it matched the hype and expectations you had, anyway, great show guys, your fan from Brazil o/.

  3. I think your friend summed up precisely how this movie made me feel, “it made me believe in Santa again”.

I thought the casting was perfect! Rocket Raccoon & Groot definitely stole the show for me, but i think Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, and Zoe Saldana also did a fantastic job.

However, I did notice some interesting things about Ronan: The Accuser. First, they made Ronan out to be some terrorist type outlaw that the Kree empire just wants to ignore; not associated in any way with the empire. This is a huge difference from the comics, as he is the Supreme Kree Justice, which is the equivalent of being soldier/judge for the Kree Empire. Also, they made him a ruthless, evil sociopath, which, having read a bunch of comics with Ronan, is very different from his portrayal in the comics.

They fundamentally changed the character, which is usually a horrible thing, (see Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine), but I think the writers offered an interesting re-imagining of the character. Villains are always my favorite part of comic book movies, and i think they made a compelling one, (even if they did have to drastically change the character).

Love the show guys! Keep up the excellent podcast! (Also, Thanos needs a deeper voice!)

  4. Also Brent, you may be right with your phase 3 marvel theory.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is on flixter for 2017

  5. As a fan of the Guardians of the Galaxy comics, I’m just happy that this movie was so enjoyable. Great casting. Really funny.

(spoilers?) Also in the post-credits scene, I thought I saw Adam Warlock’s cocoon open and empty. You could see the cocoon during the movie and the post-credits scene in Thor 2. If so that’d be cool if Adam Warlock was in the second movie, because he is a member of the Guardians and he has an Infinity Stone in the comics. So maybe even though the post-credits scene didn’t directly set up future Marvel movies, it possibly teased Adam Warlock to set up things in the future.

  6. Could you guys do a show on Iron man 3? It’s my favorite Iron man movie and I’m interested as to why you guys hate it so much.
